Pros and cons of HealthView app for iPhone and iPad

HealthView app good for

Just fantastic! So nice to have a Steps complication for the Apple Watch. And the iPhone app is customizable so I can see just the things that are important to me in an attractive dashboard. Nice job Devs! Update Been using for a month or so. The one thing I find doesnt work consistently is the Days Activity screen on the watch. After clicking on the complication, you are taken to the Days Activity. The step count on that screen is never updated and it requires an extra click on the count to get to your true step count. Annoying little bug. Otherwise still a good app. Please address...
This app has the best steps complication for the watch. It updates automatically in the background, and displays all health info on one easy to read screen
Its so simple and yet provides very useful information that is very easy to see. LOVE the steps complication on the watch.
I love the complication so I can quickly see my steps when I glance at my Apple Watch. That is the main reason that I chose this app. It is reliable and seems to work great. I would give this 5 starts if it updated instantly (Im not sure how often it updates, but seems to be every several minutes) and gave some kind of celebration when you hit your goal. It would also be nice to have a step count on the phone app so you didnt have to open anything to see how many steps you have.
Love the details this app provides, especially on my Apple watch. Had some trouble initially with data updating on my watch, but tech support responded to my email within minutes and helped get it resolved right away. Great support!
Indeed better than Apples Health app for reading health data. Sleek interface, easy to operate. Yet I cant comment on how it acts with the watch.

Some bad moments

1. The complication only works on the modular face. 2. There is no option to view the data as a glance. So whats the point?? Improve functionality and Ill improve my review. These should be easy fixes. As of now the app isnt even worth 99 cents.
My steps say 800 my wife walking along side me all day has over 10,000 The app says unable to fetch data No support or any way to find out whats happening
This is a great app overall, but the phone app, watch complication, and today widget all have one obvious, dumb flaw. For now Im taking off one star for each. PHONE APP: Very nice, but Resting Energy isnt supported. Because of this I still have to open the Health app to check my progress. Add Resting Energy and Ill never have to open the Health app again, which is the whole point of this app. WATCH COMPLICATION: No matter what I try, the watch complication just stays at 0 steps. Its worth noting that even in the largest complication slot, this will still only display a step count (or, in my case, a 0). Also, why is steps the only option? TODAY WIDGET: Theres no ability to specify what data is shown in the iPhone Today widget. I dont need the three preselected items, I dont even have all the set up.
Bought this app for basic activity data on my Apple Watch, the app works fine on the phone but crashes constantly on the watch. It read the data from the phone and crashed. I restarted the phone and the app did the exact same thing. Waste of money and will be uninstalling. Dont bother with this app its junk.
At least the free apps tell you that step counts are not updated live. This app can take 1,000 steps before it updates on the watch. And if you compare the steps it reports with what the native Apple app says they dont agree. While I Iike having a watch complication if it doesnt update quickly what use is it? Its so bad I just removed it from my watch.
Great, simple dashboard for HealthKit data. Better than FitPort in that it gives easy access to daily data, not just the current day. Im still searching for a dashboard that will show combined active and resting calories (I know its out of style, but I like to track calories in versus total calories out, not just active calories). Also would be nice if it didnt congratulate me for eating more than my target calories. I dont consider that I met my goal when I overeat. Having said that, this is the best dashboard Ive come across so far.
